Power of Mobile Apps and Populosoft's Custom iOS Development Services
Is it just me, or is your brain also exploding with application ideas — web, mobile, or otherwise — that will solve a problem you see? I don't think it was always like this. Something happened in the last few years that challenged how we think about problem-solving. Some people call that thing Artificial Intelligence, but I think there's more to it. Anyway, let's try not to talk about AI, which itself is pretty hard these days.
Back to problem-solving. A puzzle for you: What is used by billions of users, has access to real-time user data, as well as real-time access to the user itself, grabbing attention anytime it likes?
If you've come up with anything other than a mobile phone or a mobile app as the answer, please tell me. Your imagination deserves praise.
I know there's a thought somewhere deep inside us: "So many people have so many ideas, so what? I don't see them having successful mobile apps." Well, many people do have brilliant ideas, but the complexity of app design and launching bogs them down. A lack of professional support might just mean a great idea never fully reaches its potential.
I sat on an idea for a mobile app for more than a decade — never finding the time to build it and never finding something that could help me build my own app.
That's when I had another idea and launched Populosoft. My mission is to ensure that "Each worthy idea ever should transform into an app solving real problems."
I hear a lot that technology is an amazing thing. But if it's truly amazing, I think my idea should transform into an app almost effortlessly.
Anyway, we will help you build an app — an iOS app.

Why Are We Focusing on iOS?
I strongly believe that if you're entering the world of mobile apps, you must do it with an iPhone/iOS app. Here's the logic:
- You don't need 10 billion+ users to be successful. You just need a few — and I think there are enough iPhone users, last time I checked.
- For your revolutionary ideas, you need a product with the utmost quality. Ensuring quality is a bit harder on Android; there are so many different types of devices. I don't know — iPhones have something about quality.
- You need sticky, paying users. Are Apple users willing to pay premium prices? Are they sticky? You decide.
Native vs Non-Native iOS Development
There's an urge to develop an app that can run everywhere — write it once and use it everywhere. There are some great technologies out there that do just that: web technologies like React Native or Flutter.
However, the user experience suffers with all those approaches. Web doesn't work like apps; apps don't work like web. You'll always feel something is wrong with an app unless the app is built natively. That's not just me talking — you'll hear it from a lot of experienced developers.
Anyway, let's assume I'm wrong and we can give users the same experience — with only a small chance the experience will suffer. Why take the risk when all you need is a few million users (to be modest) and not all 10 billion+ users on the planet?
Note: I absolutely love the world of Android apps — but just like I said, I believe everyone who starts building mobile apps should start with iPhone apps. And I'm just getting started.
